NewLi has four kindergartens across Heidelberg, each with its own character, but all built around the same approach: small groups, strong relationships, English immersion, and plenty of room for children to be themselves.
Our Safari House in Neuenheim and Rainforest House in the Altstadt welcome children aged 2–6. Our Arctic House in Neuenheim welcomes children aged 1–6. Learn more about Our Kindergartens here.
Our brand-new Ocean House in the Südstadt will welcome children aged 1–6. Thoughtfully designed as a dedicated kindergarten, it features spacious interiors, a large private garden, and a well-connected location close to Heidelberg’s main station. Starting with us in Nursery means your child can continue their journey with us through Kindergarten.
Wherever they are, children have a familiar rhythm to their day, supportive teachers who know them well, and the freedom to follow their curiosity. We bring together the UK EYFS and Baden-Württemberg Orientierungsplan, with our four anchor words at the heart of what we do: Creative. Independent. Kind. Resilient.

Famly is the digital learning platform we use at NewLi.
Famly is a dynamic app that gives parents a simple way to stay connected to their child’s day at NewLi.
Teachers can use it to share photos and updates, record observations, document learning and development, and keep families informed about what is happening in their child’s group.
Famly also gives us a practical way to connect our everyday work with both the UK EYFS and Baden-Württemberg Orientierungsplan, keeping children’s learning and development at the centre.
By bringing communication, documentation, and updates into one place, we also reduce unnecessary paperwork and keep our everyday work a little more eco-conscious.
