Our Concept
At NewLi International Kindergartens, we believe childhood is a time to discover, wonder, connect, and grow. Children are capable, curious, and full of potential. They bring their own personalities, experiences, languages, cultures, and ways of seeing the world, and we believe these differences enrich our community.
Our concept is built around a simple belief: children deserve to be taken seriously. Their ideas, questions, feelings, relationships, and perspectives matter. We want children to feel confident in who they are, curious about the world around them, and supported as they discover what they are capable of.
Our Image of the Child
We see children as active, capable individuals with their own interests, strengths, personalities, and ways of learning. They are not simply preparing for the future. They are people with their own voices, relationships, ideas, and experiences right now.
Children need time and space to be children: to wonder, imagine, experiment, make mistakes, try again, ask questions, and follow their curiosity. We believe these experiences are an important part of growing into confident and capable people.

Belonging is at the heart of our community. NewLi brings together children and families with different languages, cultures, identities, abilities, and family backgrounds.

Our four Anchor Words, Creative, Independent, Kind, and Resilient, describe the qualities we hope to nurture throughout a child's time at NewLi.
Creative children are encouraged to imagine possibilities, express themselves, and remain curious about the world.
Independent children develop confidence in their own abilities, ideas, and choices.
Kind children learn to value themselves and others, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to their community.
Resilient children develop the confidence to face challenges, adapt to change, make mistakes, and keep going.
These qualities are not destinations or expectations that every child must meet in the same way. They are part of the kind of childhood we want to offer: one in which children have the confidence to discover who they are and what they can do.

At NewLi International Kindergartens, protecting children and supporting their wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Every child has the right to feel safe, respected, heard, and protected from harm.
