Our Concept
Our educational concept is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage, Baden-Württemberg Orientierungsplan coming together in our original Four Pillars of Pedagogy, guided by our anchor words:

The Environment - Creative
We create welcoming, stimulating spaces that encourage children to explore, make choices, and develop independence.
The Unique Child - Independent
Every child is different. We recognise individual interests, strengths, needs, and developmental stages, supporting each child as they grow.
Positive Relationships - Kind
Children learn best when they feel safe, valued, and connected. We build trusting relationships with children, families, and each other.
Learning & Development- Resilient
We see learning as an active process. Through play, exploration, conversation, and meaningful experiences, children develop skills and understanding at their own pace.
Our Anchor Words
Our four Anchor Words — Creative, Independent, Kind, and Resilient — describe the qualities we aim to nurture in every child. They shape how we interact with children, approach challenges, and create opportunities for learning.
Child Protection & Wellbeing
Children have the right to feel safe, respected, heard, and protected. Child protection is embedded in our daily practice, from appropriate professional boundaries and active supervision to recognising concerns and responding appropriately. We create an environment where children can express themselves, ask for help, and know that their wellbeing matters.
Diversity & Inclusivity
Our international community is made up of children and families with different languages, cultures, identities, abilities, and family backgrounds. We see this diversity as an important part of children's learning. Every child should feel that they belong, are represented, and can participate fully in kindergarten life.
Learning Through Play
Our English-language immersion environment gives children daily opportunities to explore, create, communicate, problem-solve, and learn with others. Small groups and an approximate 1:6 educator-to-child ratio allow teachers to know each child well and provide meaningful individual support.
