Ocean House
A brand-new space with plenty of room to make waves.
Ocean House is our newest house, located in the Heidelberg Innovation Park in Südstadt. Freshly built with the needs of young children in mind, the house offers around 1,000 m² of thoughtfully designed indoor space, alongside a private garden and playground of approximately the same size.
Ocean House will offer care from 07:30-18:00 as well as year-round care with minimal closing dates. Our concept will also involve supplementary German language learning opportunities, as well as supplementary programs for language development, sport, music and literacy.
With space for around 80 children, Ocean House welcomes approximately 20 children in our Nursery programme and 60 children in Kindergarten. Open year-round from 7:30 to 18:00, it offers families a welcoming, spacious environment designed to support children throughout their early years. Apply now!
A Place to Explore
Every part of Ocean House has been designed with children in mind. From the layout of the building to the generous outdoor space, children have room to move, discover, create and develop their independence.The private garden gives children space to experience the outdoors every day, while the size and flexibility of the house allow for a variety of learning experiences, activities and opportunities for children to follow their interests.
Part of a Bigger Community
Ocean House is part of the growing Heidelberg Innovation Park, a lively campus bringing together education, innovation, businesses and community. Just one train stop from Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof, the location offers excellent connections while placing children in the middle of an exciting and developing part of the city.Our location also brings us close to a wider educational community, including the F+U and HPC schools at Palo-Alto-Platz. This creates exciting opportunities for collaboration and connection between different stages of children's educational journeys.
Learning Beyond Our Walls
The area surrounding Ocean House gives children even more opportunities to explore. We are close to the alla hopp! Anlage, with its huge spaces for movement, climbing, balancing and play, as well as a variety of sports facilities and clubs in the surrounding Südstadt area. Being surrounded by schools, sports, community spaces and the wider Innovation Park means that learning does not have to stop at our front door. We look forward to building meaningful partnerships with the community around us and creating experiences that connect children with the world beyond their kindergarten.
